-
When will my child be starting school?
We will be staggering the start dates for different groups, further information will be provided in June.
-
Are you a Primary school?
No, we are an infant school. A primary school is for children aged between 4 - 11, our children are aged 4 - 7. Please be aware of this when reading Government guidance.
- How are classes determined?
We like to make the transition into school as smooth as possible for our new children. Within the 'Journeying Together' booklet we ask you to indicate the names of two friends that your child has made already. We also understand that some children, when together, do not have the most harmonious relationship, please indicate these also. The information you provide and feedback provided from your child’s previous setting will all contribute towards the class decisions.
- Will my child get to meet their teacher before September?
Yes, on the condition that there are no changes to the staffing structures, your child will have the opportunity to meet the entire Foundation Stage Team during both playdates.
- Where can I buy school uniform?
Our school uniform provider is Smartypants. Please speak directly to them regarding ordering and delivery of uniform.
We also have some fantastic quality 'preloved' uniform should you wish to purchase.
All the information about what the children need to wear and obtaining uniform is in the 'about the school' section
- Can my child attend Breakfast Club
Yes, as well as staggering start dates we also ease the children into the school day to help them get used to routines and spending an entire day in school. On the first day that your child attends school full time (all day) they will be able to join Breakfast Club. More details regarding Breakfast Club will be sent to you in June.
