Key Stage 1 - Afternoon classes

Our topics are planned over a two year cycle. The activities planned will include the following subjects of the National Curriculum:

* Art & Design                                                   * Music

* Computing                                                      * Personal, Social & Health Education

* Design Technology                                            * Physical Education

* Geography                                                      * Religious Education

* History                                                           * Science

Autumn 1

Cycle 1 - What a Wonderful World

We learn about the continents and oceans and the seasonal weather patterns in the UK. We study famous explorers. The whole school participates in the Christian celebration of Harvest.

Cycle 2 - We are Britain 

We learn about our local environment and further afield. We explore the four countries of the UK. We learn about our 5 senses and the human body and our basic needs to survive.

Autumn 2

Cycle 1 - What a Wonderful World
